ABOUT THE ROLE: The Specialist Eating Disorder clinician will focus to improve access and provision of support and treatment for consumers experiencing an eating disorder. The Specialist role will further provide a standard of high clinical care and workforce development across the mental health services. It is a wonderful opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary community mental health team, providing recovery framework of care to consumers experiencing mental health issues and psychosocial problems The team peruses excellence to provide an accessible high quality service to the rapid growing, diverse Wyndham community. Mercy Mental Health (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
