About the role
Warrnambool Adult Mental Health Services Access Team has vacancies for Mental Health Clinicians, who will be providing recovery oriented care to consumers as part of an experienced and supportive multidisciplinary team.
We will support you as part of a large team, including multidisciplinary Mental Health Clinicians, Psychiatrists, Peer Support Workers and the Acute Inpatient Unit. You will work closely with other regional teams and residential services, and will be supported with regular supervision and training.
There are multiple full time fixed term position available.
What you bring
You will be a qualified Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with experience in providing triage and crisis response, as well as intake and assessment either via phone or face to face, for consumers presenting with acute mental health difficulties. You will be proactive in providing short term treatments and/or referrals appropriate to the needs of the individual, their carers and family.
