Lived Experience Worker


Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a consumer lived experience worker to join the Specialist and therapeutic programs team on a Part Time- Ongoing Basis.


This role plays an important role in providing a consumer lived experience perspective into the Mental Health Program service planning, service delivery and evaluation.


The successful applicant will:



  • Ensure an awareness of the lived experience role within the organisation.

  • Work directly with Consumers and other relevant LRH staff to assist with the consumer with recovery in a practical, therapeutic and meaningful way across the service including inpatient units as directed

  • Sharing of lived experience and help to facilitate of a range of activities (including training) to encourage full participation of both consumer and carers in our mental health services
