Monash Health Bureau Opportunities.

Monash Health Bureau(MHB) workforce unit is responsible for the recruitment and allocation of experienced Nursing and Midwifery staff to meet the demands of a multi-specialised and fast growing health care organisation. MHB allocates over 400 shifts per day across the major locations.

We are now recruiting professional and skilled Registered Nurse/Midwives and Endorsed Enrolled nurses to join our Nursing/Midwifery permanent Pool. We have a range of EFT available from 32 hours/fortnight to a maximum of 76 hours/fortnight. Choose to work across our different sites and clinical specialities including:

• Acute Medicine, Emergency,General Medicine


• Speciality Medicine, Cancer & Critical Care-ICU,CCU,Oncology, Palliative Care.


• Surgery &Interventional Services- Anaesthetics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Orthopaedic, Monash Heart, Plastic Surgery, Renal Services.


• Sub-Acute- Aged Care & Rehabilitation,Residential Services,


• Community- Hospital in the Home, Post Acute Care


• Womens & Newborn-Birth Unit, Antenatal and Postnatal

What to Expect:

• Input shift availabilities and receive your roster via our electric system.


• Receive your roster 4-6 weeks in advance.

About You:

• Experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife/EEN with a strong focus on patient centred care and good communication skills.


• Ability to work a rotating roster which includes, morning, afternoon and night duty across Monash Health sites.


• Required to work across a minimum of three(3) Monash Health sites.


• Ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, colleagues and visitors enabling you to deliver exceptional care.


• As the face of Monash Health Bureau you will consistenly demonstrate the core guiding principals of Monash Health.

If you have previously been unsuccessful in your MHB application you are required to gain a minimum six (6) months further acute clinical experience before reapplying.

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration.


• Police check not more that three (3) months old.


• Current Employee Working with Childrens Check (or proof of payment for same).


• Evidence of up to date immunisation status record.


• Proven relevant experience-minimun six(6) months acute clinical experience and/or qualifications.

Under the Victorian Public Health orders, all employees working within the Public Health system must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.  The current orders require evidence of three doses.
All applicants to positions with Monash Health will need to upload acceptable evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19 as part of their application.  Acceptable evidence is a copy of your Immunisation History Statement or your COVID-19 Digital Certificate, which can be accessed via MyGov.
