About the role:
Monash Women’s at Dandenong has an opportunity for an experienced midwife to grow your career in leadership, joining the existing team leaders to guide and support staff and manager the operational requirements of their post natal wards.
The Midwifery Manager Team Leader together with the obstetric partner is jointly responsible for their multidisciplinary team. The Rose Quartz Team provides care for postnatal women and the number of patients is rapidly growing as the service and acuity grows across the South Eastern Window. We support a culturally diverse group of women across Dandenong and our teams of midwives are given the opportunity to rotate through clinic, birth suite, postnatal and extended care into the home, to maximise continuity of care and a positive experience for women. As the Maternity Leader, together with the your other Team leaders at each site, you will encourage and support Monash Women’s model of practice to ensure women receive consistent high quality, safe care throughout their journey.
About You
You are an experienced midwife who has a strong commitment to exceptional care and outstanding outcomes. You will have opportunity to work closely with your teams daily, and coordinate your pregnancy clinics weekly. You will be inspired everyday working with like-minded, passionate colleagues who share your values and purpose.
