About the Role:
The CFA are implementing a restructure to the Business Intelligence Department. As such we have new and exciting opportunities for those who are progressive thinkers and operators who will bring “data to life”. Leaders who will bring technical expertise and implement sophisticated operations to enable informed decision making.
The Business Intelligence team bring data to life so that our customers in Victorian communities are prepared for and safe from fire. The team enables trusted decisions through high quality, visible data and information that are presented to community programs, project leaders, brigades, media, emergency sector agencies, Board and Minister's Office.
The Modelling Analyst is responsible for making statistical calculations or programmed analyses to integrate with decision support tools, models and data extracts. The position defines and manages the product lifecycle of tools, promotes and educates stakeholders in their use, and operates in one of the core disciplines of risk management, road network or spatial analysis. Overall, the Modelling Analyst enables value through decisions by aligning outputs to strategic and product objectives.
