.Net developer, VICNISS Coordinating Centre
- Design and develop applications for the National Infection Surveillance Program for Aged Care
- Full Time Fixed Term position until April 2024

About us
The VICNISS Coordinating Centre is responsible for collating and reporting healthcare associated infections for Victoria. The centre has been in operation for 20 years and over this time has overseen significant reductions in rates of healthcare associated infections.
About the role
- Design, develop, test NISPAC surveillance portal using modern software development tools. This includes preparation of relevant documentation including installation guides and kits for software applications being developed.
- Work independently in the various stages of software development phase (design, development, testing and delivery of the applications) and responsible for quality backend and front-end design and development
- Work closely with the stakeholders to understand the requirements and able to deliver quality work in timely manner
About you
- Relevant qualifications in computer science/information technology
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with a range of software technologies e.g. C#, MVC, Web API, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.Net 5 or later, HTML, CSS, SASS,Bootstrap 4 or later, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, JSON, SQL/T-SQL, O/R mapping tools and MS SQL server 2012 or later.
- Demonstrated understanding of the whole data life-cycle including relational database design, data governance and privacy principles
