About the role

Integrated Services Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) is part of the Health Independence Program and sits within the Acute and Aged Medicine division of Eastern Health.

The Grade 3 Neuropsychologist will be responsible for providing clinical neuropsychology services to the Integrated Services Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) across Eastern Health depending upon demand. Services to be provided include neuropsychological assessment, consultation to other staff and programs, education to patients and carers, and management including behavioural intervention.

The Grade 3 neuropsychologist will deliver a responsive, evidence-based service, be experienced in working within an Interdisciplinary team and to work well under time pressure. This includes in services and education sessions to staff within the service. The Grade 3 Neuropsychologist will be responsible for supervising more junior staff and students where required.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A Masters or Doctoral coursework qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology that has been approved by the Psychology Board of Australia

  • Full registration or eligibility for full registration as a Psychologist by the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA).

  • Registration endorsement in the Approved Area of Practice of Clinical Neuropsychology.

  • PBA Approved Supervisor status for higher degree placement and for the registrar program or be eligible to engage in PBA approved supervision training in order to attain PBA Approved Supervisor status for higher degree placement and for the registrar program

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skill

  • A Valid Victorian Drivers Licence
