An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Neuropsychologist [Grade 2] to join the Mary Guthrie House - Neuropsychiatry inpatient Unit- State-wide Specialist Mental Health Program.

Mary Guthrie House - Neuropsychiatry Inpatient Unit is a multi-component neuropsychiatry program located at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre in Kew. The program specialises in the recovery of individuals under the age of 65 years with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) or neurodegenerative condition and associated mental illness including behavioural concerns.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collegial and innovative multidisciplinary team in providing specialised behaviour support to consumers with an acquired brain injury or neurodegenerative illness and mental health conditions.
The Clinical Neuropsychologist [Grade 2] fulfils the roles and responsibilities of the position by demonstrating expert knowledge and skills in Acquired Brain Injury, Neurodegenerative illness and Mental Health including behavioural assessment and interventions in the context of slow-stream neurobehavioral rehabilitation, as well as neuropsychological counselling, assessment and positive behaviour support planning.
The role also includes the provision of education and ongoing consultation to consumers, families, and carers.
