About the role

ICYMHS provides mental health assessment and treatment to children and young people aged 0-25. The neuropsychologist provides specialist assessment to referred consumers as part of their treatment during the episode of care.  As well the incumbent will provide consultation to case managers, and liaise with families and stakeholders on behalf of consumers to provide feedback and recommendations as part of the individual recovery plan. The neuropsychologist will work across central east teams that include Box Hill and Chandler community teams and the Early psychosis team.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Relevant AHPRA registration
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in engaging with and working with children and young people and their families.
