An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist to join the Community Brain Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (CBDATS). This is a fixed term maternity leave position.

This role would suit a neuropsychologist who has an interest in working with clients who have significant cognitive and behavioural difficulties following an ABI and a mental illness The position offers a unique opportunity to utilise your specialist assessment and consultation skills, networking with stakeholders, families and carers and participate in quality improvement activities.

Essential for Performance in the Position

• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)


• Psychology Board of Australia.


• Minimum of a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, experience as a Psychologist Grade 2.


• Endorsement by the Psychology Board of Australia to practice as a clinical neuropsychologist.


• Relevant clinical experience in the management of adult psychiatry and ABI consumers.


• Demonstrated experience with neurobehavioural interventions


• Ability to plan and develop, specific educational material and programs as outlined in the position objective.


• Sound knowledge of the new Mental Health Act (2014) legislation.


• Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.


• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
