About the role
South West Healthcare's (SWH) Emergency Department is looking for a motivated, suitably qualified Nurse Practitioner for a fixed term position until January 2022.
This role is responsible for providing a high level of specialised clinical care to patients and their families congruent with the clinical practice guidelines and organisation practice. The position also contributes to the leadership of the department in relation to preceptorship and education.
The position is part-time 64 hours per fortnight.
What you bring
The successful applicant will have well developed competency and analytical skills working in an emergency environment. Discharge planning and overall management of emergency patients with appropriate referral to other services is a key function along with a consultative approach working within a medical framework.
Applicants must be AHPRA registered and have a post graduate certificate in emergency / critical care nursing.
