About the role

The Breast and Cancer Centre Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the clinical and administration teams and contributing to the effective coordination and efficient management of the Centre together with the BreastScreen and Medical Imaging management teams. This is a position of clinical leadership and accountability that aligns with Eastern Health’s clinical governance and operational management structures and is strongly guided by Eastern Health values.

About You 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australian (NMBA) via AHPRA


• Post Graduate qualifications relevant to the position and/or leadership and management


• Highly developed interpersonal skills and leadership experience


• A strong commitment to high quality care


• The ability to work as part of a diverse team


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Commitment to ongoing professional development
