  • $55 per hour

  • Full Time - Ongoing 80 per fortnight with an ADO

The Team


The Community Care Units (CCU) is a 12 bed residential program providing a home-like environment for persons 18 - 64 years requiring intensive rehabilitation and support. Consisting of 6 two bedroom units, the CCU serves as a 'step up step down' program between inpatient units and the community, offering a variety of programs focused on the development of daily living skills, social interactions and recreational and vocational skills and opportunities. 


As with Psychiatry Extended Care, CCU allows for an extended but time limited admission for patients requiring long term support and treatment. Admission is via referral.



The Position


Managers at Bendigo Health are an integral part of the health care service team, providing leadership and direction to a dedicated staffing group.

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to proactively manage processes and systems that focus on the recovery of patients within the Community Care Units.  Bendigo Health is also in the enviable position of having moved into our new hospital which includes a large expansion of beds within the Psychiatric Inpatient Units.  The manager will provide a pivotal role with the planning, development and ongoing implementation of the models of care and review of and integration with current practices.
