What You Will Be Doing

Peninsula Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to join our team at Frankston Public Surgical Centre providing care for surgical patients.

The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a valued member of the leadership team at Peninsula Health, committed to upholding Peninsula Health's values and meeting organisational goals. The NUM is instrumental in the planning process and the effective allocation of resources for the ward/unit. They are responsible for the overall ward leadership and management of a diverse team and ensuring that their team members deliver safe, evidence based, person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Recent experience in a nursing leadership or management role within the acute
sector
• Competent in using a range of software application features for word processing,
spread sheets etc
• Working towards or having completed a postgraduate degree, or equivalent, qualification in health management or relevant field.
• Demonstrated contribution towards organisation accreditation processes
