About The Role

This may be your opportunity to join a well-established, warm and inviting Community Rehabilitation interdisciplinary team in a full time parental leave cover position until 4/11/2022. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide time-limited, evidence-based and goal-oriented rehabilitation to a diverse adult population with varying conditions e.g. Neurological, orthopaedic, cardiac and pulmonary. This position will be based at the Kingston Centre and may involve both centre based or home based.

About You

  • You have proven experience in providing assessment and intervention to clients in a rehabilitation setting

  • You enjoy creative problem solving and thinking outside the box to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals

  • You enjoy working as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team

What You Need

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification),

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (practicing, no restrictions)

  • Current drivers licence

  • Experience in Community Rehabilitation/Hospital based Rehabilitation

  • Experience in Neurological Rehabilitation 

  • Experience in Public Health (desirable)
