OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR

  • Annual Salary Range: $99,872 - $120,838 + superannuation
  • Tenure: Fixed Term until [30.06.2021]
  • Employment Type: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual Work Location: Footscray, Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)

 

About the Team

To deliver transport services across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network

About the Opportunity

This role is responsible to advise, develop and implement the Occupational Health & Safety, strategies, frameworks and procedures across the Safer Roads business area to ensure all construction projects and activities are planned and delivered in a safe manner and compliant with all relevant health and safety laws.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have;

  • Strong understanding of high-risk activities and contractor management to ensure the appropriate identification, management, and minimisation of relevant safety risks.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills that can be applied in the context of both high-risk activities and allied and mental health support.
  • Good collaboration capabilities with a customer focus to ensure that occupational health & safety standards and programs are developed and delivered in line with key stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to interpret and apply the provisions of health and safety legislation, policies and standards as they relate to the workplace, including the management of contractors.
  • Good working knowledge of Victorian OHS legislation and its application in a large and complex organisation.
