About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our acute Occupational Therapy team at Box Hill Hospital, with a caseload primarily focued on working with oncology and haematology patients. Ideally suited to a clinician with some clinical experieince in the area of Oncology, the successful applicant will be involved in the provision of quality, evidence based occupational therapy services and will provide high-quality supervision which fosters staff development.  In this role you will work with a supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team, have opportunities to lead and be part of service development inititatives and be provided with supportive supervision and professional development opportunities.   

About you

The successful applicant will possess the following key attributes:

• clinical skills in acute occupational therapy, aligned to best practice in Oncology


• Proven ability to develop others


• Demonstrated experience in leading projects and service initiatives


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• A strong commitment to quality improvement and clinical research


• Strong commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
