About the role

A rotational position based at the Graham Street Shepparton Campus or at the Community Health Building on Corio Street.

In this role you will provide assessment, intervention and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing Occupational Therapy services to patients across Acute (Medical, Surgical, Paediatric, Emergency and Intensive Care units), Sub-acute (Rehab, Geriatric Evaluation and Management, and Palliative Care) and Community Health.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with eligibility for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency as an Occupational Therapist
  • Sound understanding of Occupational Therapy practice in the inpatient or community setting, including clinical experience in assessment, intervention and discharge planning of various patient cohorts
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development, including a positive attitude towards supervision and receiving feedback
