About the role
The Occupational Therapist works in partnership with consumers, carers, families and other service providers in order to provide high quality occupational therapy assessment, treatment and consultation services within a recovery oriented framework to consumers across adult inpatient mental health services (Maroondah IPU1 ). Services provided will be individualised to support recovery and may include individual and group work, assessment and intervention, discharge planning, education for consumers and their families, and liaison with other services and programs as needed.
