We offer integrated multidisciplinary care to a growing and diverse population in the community setting, with individual client centred approach.To support this we have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-time Grade 2 Occupational Therapy Driver Assessor, with the option of combining days of Grade 2 Community Occupational Therapy to make this an exciting Full-time position. We'll provide access to a Monash Health vehicle.
A Day in the Life
Our team of highly experienced Occupational Therapists work to provide timely, person-centred interventions to prevent deterioration of health, and admission to hospital and or residential care. This is a unique opportunity to join our large, friendly community-based team covering Greater Dandenong and Bayside.
As the Grade 2 Occupational Therapy Driver Assessor, you will work with clients and Vic Roads to provide timely, client centred assessments and vehicle adaptions.The role requires provision of evidence-informed assessment, intervention and discharge planning to clients within the Aged and Community Care Program.Occupational Therapists work with clients and/or carers to increase their engagement in meaningful occupation and support healthy living options. The services you will offer can take place in a client’s home, in the community and/or by telehealth.
