About the Role

Are you a dedicated, and dynamic Occupational Therapist?

We are looking for a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our rotational programs at Monash Health. Positions are available in the following rotation programs:

  • Kingston

  • Monash Medical Centre, Clayton

  • Casey and Dandenong Hospitals

All rotation programs offer a diverse range of experience, including acute services, subacute and community and home based rehabilitation.

We support our Grade 1’s with supervision, peer support and a comprehensive professional development program.

You will be part of the wider Monash Health Occupational Therapy service, with access to all the benefits that offers: professional development, supervision, and broad and specialised clinical experience. Monash Health is a great place to forge your early career. You will be well-supported to work on targeted learning objectives and to learn from experienced clinicians in our large departments. Comprehensive assessment, targeted interventions and discharge planning with the multi-disciplinary team are core components of our bed-based service.

About You

We are looking for a passionate individual, with a focus on personal and professional improvement and a desire for learning and contributing to our patient-centred service. Desirable attributes:

You have:

  • Passion for enhancing patient experiences and facilitation of person-centred care

  • An aptitude for on-going learning and personal professional development 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • A keen interest in evidence-based practice and clinical inquiry

Current practicing Occupational Therapy AHPRA registration, and Victorian driver’s license is required.
