THE EMPLOYER
Grampians Health – Horsham Campus is based 300kms north-west of Melbourne and 450kms east of Adelaide. It is the largest hospital in the Wimmera region and provides a range of specialist services including a broad range of Allied Health Services.
THE BURSARY AGREEMENT
We are offering a bursary agreement to a Occupational Therapy student who is in their final year of studies. The bursary agreement provides financial support amounting to a total of $3,500, to reimburse for costs associated with study (e.g. course fees, laptop, textbooks, etc). The approved bursary position will be eligible for a 1 year full time contract position at Grampians Health – Horsham Campus as a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist.
WORKING WITH THE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY DEPARTMENT
This position will include rotations in Acute Inpatients, Rehabilitation, Outpatients and Community. The Occupational Therapy Department provides regular mentoring to new graduates, an Allied Health Early Careers Program, plus financial support for ongoing professional development. The successful applicant can also access four weeks free accommodation onsite (subject to availability).
