- Full Time position based at St Albans Community Care Unit (CCU)
Life with Us:
- St Albans CCU is a 10 unit complex accommodating 20 beds, with 24 hour nursing care support
- We provide recovery-focused rehabilitation in a community residential setting, to consumers aged 18-64 years old who typically have multiple and complex needs.
- Our aim is to increase individual’s psychosocial independence through a variety of person-centred programs to develop daily living skills.
- As the Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in the delivery of Occupational Therapy interventions and Group program. You will also hold a Portfolio and carry out Case Management of clients.
Your New Role:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to consumers residing at St Albans Community Care Unit
- Contribute positively to the multidisciplinary team, doing challenging and rewarding work
- Be involved in the provision of; functional assessment, sensory modulation, group work, community participation, discharge planning, and community liaison
- Continuously deliver a standard of high quality patient care

- Passionate about working with people presenting mental illness
- Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team within a rehabilitation setting
- Hold high professional standards, are accountable for your decisions and committed to further developing your career
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, problem solving and prioritisation skills teamed with a willingness to learn
