  • Are you looking for a Grade 2 opportunity to develop your specialist neurorehabilitation, supervision, leadership and service development knowledge and skills.

  • Work part time 38hrs/fortnight with a neuro clinical caseload, in a specialist neurorehabilitation team at North Geelong Community Rehabilitation Centre.

  • Work in a geographical environment supporting your lifestyle where local urban precincts, retail plazas, waterfront foreshore and gardens, vineyards, Melbourne inner city, and the Surf coast are all within easy reach.

  • 38 hours per fortnight temporary, 3 days per week until 20 February 2021.

About the role


We are seeking applications for a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to:


Join our specialist team of 5 community neuro OTs including 0.5 eft x Grade 3 Neuro Clinical lead, 1.5eft x Grade 2 OTs, 1.0eft x rotating Grade 1 OT.


Work 3 days/wk:  Preferred days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

About you



  • A clear and respectful communicator and team worker.

  • Proficient subacute clinical neurorehabilitation knowledge and skills.

  • Passionate commitment to evidence based practice, consumer focussed care and accountable for providing a high quality service

  • Ability to critically analyse own performance and acknowledge responsibility for your own learning

  • Excellent leadership skills to advocate for consumers, and support junior staff.

  • Role model a resilient, optimistic & flexible approach to prepare for the challenges that public healthcare is facing both now and in the years to come.
