About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Early Stroke Discharge (ESD) program at Eastern health.
We are seeking an innovative and client-focused Occupational Therapist. You will be committed to high quality, evidence-based patient care and have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals.
In this role you will demonstrate advanced skills in the assessment and management of stroke rehabilitation, providing therapy both centre based and in the client's homes. From an interdisciplinary approach you will undertake effective and timely discharge planning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to thrive in this role, with opportunities to also supervise junior staff and students.
