The Position:
A fantastic opportunity exists at BRHS for a talented Occupational Therapist with highly developed hand therapy clinical skills. BRHS has a strong organisational focus on professional development, and you will expand your clinical and leadership skills within a supportive environment whilst also enjoying an amazing work/life balance living in stunning East Gippsland. You will use your full skillset with the role being predominantly Handy Therapy based and a portion of your work also providing generalist occupational therapy services in the acute, sub-acute and outpatient services. The Hand Therapy Service extends to providing services to compensable clients under home care packages, TAC, DVA, WorkCover and occasionally NDIS.
In this position you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Occupational Therapy Team Leader in management of the hand therapy clinic and will have the opportunity to provide leadership to Grade One staff and Allied Health Assistants in order to embed innovative models of care that are consistent with the BRHS principles.
