Graduate Occupational Therapist - Mental Health

The graduate positons represent an opportunity for a graduate interested in a career in mental health to develop core mental health competencies through a structured learning program over a 12-month Full Time Fixed Term period.

Latrobe Regional Hospital are looking to appoint enthusiastic Occupational Therapist Graduates with highly developed interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence to work in the Community Mental Health Team within the Gippsland Region.

Applications are sought from Occupational therapists who have recently graduated and are looking for an exciting and challenging career within mental health services.

The successfull applicant will:

  • Have interest in community mental health practice

  • Will work within Adult Mental health stream where a six-month rotation between inpatient and residential services will occur

  • Have a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Will have a protected workload, weekly supervision and regular educational opportunities
