MHDAS provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.

About the role
The Mental Health Occupational Therapy Educator Senior Clinician assists in the coordination and delivery of educational development activities for mental health program staff that meet the needs of the service and the individual. The position has a key role in providing occupational therapy discipline specific leadership and education and training to mental health staff and students with a coordinated, comprehensive education framework to address organizational, professional and clinical service needs.
The role is part of the MHDAS Education Team and is strategically aligned to the broader Barwon Health UHG health services. As a senior mental health occupational therapist, the role works closely with the other senior educators and clinicians in MHDAS and Barwon Health UHG. The incumbent also contributes to the development of the mental health services and is a member of relevant meetings / committees by negotiation.
