About the Role

We are looking for flexible, motivated and experienced Grade 2 clinicians to join our Occupational Therapy services. You will work collaboratively with inclusive and passionate occupational therapy and allied health staff to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families/carers across a wide range of clinical areas, dependent on your skill, expertise and area of interest.

What we’re looking for in You

Experienced Occupational Therapist with clinical expertise in acute, subacute, paediatric, mental health or community settings. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other experienced and team-focused clinicians in occupational therapy and allied health. The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities within OT and multidisciplinary teams

  • Implement clear communication and advocate for best care for the patient

  • Engage patients in the participation of their treatment journey

  • Acknowledge responsibility for own learning

  • Collaborate with others in the development of department resources and research pursuits

  • Routinely uphold the Monash Health iCare values

What You Need:

  • At least 2 years experience providing high quality clinical occupational therapy service to patients in the inpatient setting;

  • Passion for enhancing patient experiences and facilitation of occupational performance;

  • Demonstrated skill in teaching, supervision and promoting the growth and development of staff; 

  • An aptitude for ongoing learning and personal professional development; 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; 

  • A keen interest in evidence-based practice, clinical inquiry, research and service improvement.  

Eligibility for membership of relevant professional association and current Occupational Therapy AHPRA registration are requirement for this role.
