Ongoing part time (48 hours per fortnight)

The Role:

Stawell Regional Health is inviting applications for Registered Nurses for a 0.6EFT permanent contract in our Oncology Unit. In this role you will be delivering holistic and individualised care and support to our patients and their families who are experiencing and living with cancer.

The Oncology Nurse provides expert advice, direct care and support to patients and their families who attend our Oncology Unit. This role is suited to a nurse with a true passion for oncology care and is highly motivated to make positive impacts on people's lives. You will be working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team and build relationships with our regional oncology networks and partners.

Nurses interested in applying for this position must hold a current registration with AHPRA, be able to demonstrate advanced assessment skills, and have highly developed interpersonal communication and computer literacy skills.

Nurses must have experience in acute or similar setting. Postgraduate qualifications and previous experience in Oncology care is desired but not essential. We are keen to offer specialised training, education and support for the right Nurse.
