What You Will Be Doing The Operations Director Surgery and Anaesthetics is a key role within the operations management team of Peninsula Health and will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient provision of high-quality health care services for the communities we serve. Reporting to the General Manager, the focus of the role includes accountability for the operational performance of all aspects of Surgery and Anaesthetics including budgets and output targets, facilitates sound corporate and clinical direction for the service line and is responsible for performance against key performance indicators. The Operations Director will provide strong leadership and day to day support and direction to ensure that the services, employees and resources are managed efficiently and effectively. The role will maintain effective partnerships with the General Manager, Clinical Directors, Operations Directors, Chief Medical Officer and Nursing executive and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure timely patient flow across the organisation.
What You NeedWe anticipate you will have:• Health Degree Qualification. • Demonstrated track record and experience in Health Service Management at a senior level and within a large service industry organisation.• Extensive operational experience in acute public health. • Strong leadership skills• Comprehensive understanding of complex hospital systems, including clinical and financial performance indicators.• Ability to work as an effective member of a senior management team.
