About the Role

As an experienced IT professional, you will provide technical support for a related set of applications, business systems and interfaces to service the business, mainly Oracle, Oracle E Business and Purchase to Pay (P2P).

You will work collaboratively to rectify incidents, diagnose and fix problems and assist business users with support requests.

Duties

  • Provide technical advice and guidance to Business Solution Designers during the analysis and design of new services or enhancements
  • Allocate workflow
  • Monitor and assess the quality of the delivery of the team's services to its internal clients
  • Recommend to your supervisor about how to manage technical risks

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience with Oracle forms, Oracle E-Business Suite - Payables, Purchase to Pay (p2p) Order Management and Financial
  • Strong experience with SQL scripting, de-bugging and troubleshooting
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in IT service management disciplines, particularly incident, problem and change management
  • Experience in application support and development across a variety of technologies.
  • Sound analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Extensive experience in the development and design in an Oracle Business Intelligence environment would be highly considered.
