Victoria Police is currently establishing a team to support an extensive program of work focussed on organisational financial sustainability and efficiencies. As part of the Investment and Reporting Department, the Financial Sustainability Program team will consist of several work streams including program management, financial modelling, data analytics and reporting, and change management.

The Organisational Change will report to the Manager, Financial Sustainability, and Implements and Shapes Strategic Direction that will assist strategic decision-making across Victoria Police.   

As the successful applicant you will have excellent stakeholder management skills, experience working in a dynamic team environment, and conceptual skills.

Your duties will include:

  • Assist with planning of workshops, communication about the program to a range of audiences and support Executive Command communication within their portfolios
  • Develop a communications plan so key stakeholders are identified and engagement planned, regular communication is maintained and consistent messaging is utilised
  • Ensure that change management principles are applied to all communications and thinking within the team
  • Ensure that all communications messages are consistent with change management principles

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Experience in leading change in complex organisations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • Position located at the Victoria Police Centre. 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
