The Paediatric Emergency Department at Monash Medical Centre is looking for positive, committed and inspiring Paediatric Emergency Physicians to join a thriving team dedicated to achieving the best in patient care.  Opportunities exist for permanent, fixed term and weekend only positions.

Our busy ED encourages professional growth, time management and the practice of teaching and supervision skills.  This opportunity only comes from a fast paced and dynamic environment like our Paediatric ED. The Paediatric Emergency Department is accredited for up to 12 months of training for both ACEM and RACP.  We take your career development seriously and take the time to enhance your professional growth through our consultant coaching/mentoring program. We are committed to the ongoing career development of our Paediatric Emergency Physicians and providing the highest standard of patient care.

We are strong contributors to MERC (Monash Emergency Research Collaborative) and our strong links to Monash University and the research precinct onsite will help you to maximise your development, allowing you to build versatility and experience job satisfaction.   We have substantial involvement with PREDICT, a paediatric research collaborative across Australia and New Zealand.

Stage 2 of our dedicated children’s ED redevelopment opens on March 24th  2021 with completion due in early 2022.
