About the role


Community Health paediatric physiotherapy predominantly receives referrals for children aged 12 and under, who present with a physical problem during childhood.


The Physiotherapist will work closely within a paediatric allied health team including Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, and family support services. Liaison with Maternal and Child Health services and an understanding of how the service fits alongside other paediatric physiotherapy services including outpatients and VPRS is required. 


Community Health at Eastern Health provides services across the outer east of Melbourne. This position will provide services from our Maroondah Hospital, Healesville Hospital, Yarra Valley Health and Yarra Junction sites as required.


About you 


To be successful in this role you will possess:



  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy.

  • Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Eligibility for practicing membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
