ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking applicants for Palliative Care Educator roles within our palliative care team. This exciting opportunity will provide the opportunity to provide education to our team across our Mercy Palliative care service

  • Mercy Palliative Care 
  • Full Time, Part time and job share considered 
  • Across three Mercy Palliative Care sites- Sunshine, Werribee, Parkville
  • To provide educational leadership and guidance to enable the development of knowledge and skill for all staff and learners.
  • Develops, implements and evaluates palliative care learning activities across the palliative care services

ABOUT YOU: 

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Post-graduate Qualification in education or working towards (highly desirable)
  • Relevant post registration qualifications and experience in palliative care required
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Mercy Palliative Care is a community palliative care service operating in the Western region of Melbourne and provides a holistic multidisciplinary approach to palliative care. We provide psychological and spiritual support, caring for people of all ages with life-limiting illnesses in their homes as well as complex symptom management. We currently care for over 500 patients across the region in their own homes.
