The primary functions of this position are to assess and support individuals living with HIV who place others at risk of HIV transmission, provide confidential partner notification for sexually transmissible infections, including HIV, liaise with relevant stakeholders, and participate in the inspection of brothels under the Victorian public health legislation. People living with HIV who may place others at risk of transmission often live with complex social, emotional, educational, cultural, intellectual and/or psychiatric factors which affect their daily lives including financial issues, homelessness and drug and alcohol use.

The Partner Notification Officer position will utilise your skills in relation to the investigation, control and prevention of sexually transmissible infections, including HIV. This job offers an excellent opportunity for those wishing to further develop their experience and skills in public health, epidemiology, policy and planning
