The Monash Health Pathology Service operates under the brand name of Monash Pathology and is an integral part of Monash Health. It is one of the largest providers of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 5 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional facilities being located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey and Wonthaggi Hospitals. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services


About the Role


We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic person to join the Information Services team with the Pathology Service at Monash Health. The successful applicant will assist in the day-to-day functions of the Pathology Information System(s), ensuring that internal and external customer requirements regarding availability, reliability, security, performance and accessibility are satisfactorily delivered. This is a full time ongoing position.


About You


To be successful in this role you will have:



  • High level computer skills, excellent communication skills

  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines as required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Pathology LIS, Pathology billing processes and Pathology Accreditation will be highly regarded.
