We are seeking a Peer Support Coordinator (Programs and Projects) to ensure that resourcing, accessibility, and that the adjunct programs and projects that support the peer support team are coordinated the Wellbeing and Support Services Department. This is a Fulltime Permanent position currently based in Doncaster.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Peer and Pastoral Care, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, maintain and administer projects that align the peer support program policies and procedures in accordance with organisational and program standards, training and refresher requirements for the peer support program.
• Project manage service delivery activities for the peer support program  and prepare reports, briefing notes and business cases for peer support program activities related to program initiatives and training;
• Support existing and/or new initiatives and projects, committees and working groups to support the delivery of recommendations Undertake and develop project tasks, strategies, frameworks, and implementation plans, assess project risks, issues and participate in stakeholder meetings to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Provide out of hours support for the Peer Support Program on a rostered call arrangement.

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess:

A tertiary qualification, preferably at postgraduate level in a relevant discipline with high level experience in a project management related field or an equivalent combination of training and sound experience (preferably in emergency services or provision wellbeing/peer support).

• High level demonstrated experience in project management and program coordination with excellent administrative and computer skills and the ability to handle competing demands in a high-volume work environment is required.
• In addition, your high-level communication and interpersonal skills to liaise and consult with key parties, negotiate successful outcomes on complex and sensitive issues and conflict resolution.
• Your written communication skills, ability to interpret and implement relevant policies and procedures that inform and support the delivery of wellbeing and support services is essential to your success in this role.

The position is graded at AV5. The AV grade salary range for AV5 position is $122,236 to $144,502 plus 10% superannuation. Salary on commencement is offered at the base of the AV grade. This role also attracts an annual after-hours allowance of $10,445 pa.
