This role manages the credentialing processes for all of our Visiting Medical Officers at MDHS. Working closely with the Director of Medical Services and People & Culture Team, you will be responsible for initial and ongoing credentialing appointments to MDHS, monitoring annual requirements and security screening processes while maintaining a high level of communication between all parties involved. Previous administration experience is essential.

Part Time – 32 hours per fortnight

Fixed Term – to commence ASAP until 30th April 2023

Classification: Administration Officer Grade 1 (HS1)

Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2025 and subsequent agreements

Specialist Expertise

  1. High level competence in Microsoft Office and Data Management systems
  2. Demonstrated excellence in phone techniques and etiquette with a customer service focus.
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide efficient administrative support, with experience in establishing process efficiencies to achieve optimal service output.
  4. Strong organisational skills and interpersonal skills, with experience in multitasking and meeting deadlines. 
  5. Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of attention to detail in work.

Personal Qualities

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  3. Ability to be flexible and attentive to the varied and changing dynamics of a busy work environment.
