Located on the beautiful Great South Coast, South West Healthcare offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and psychiatric services. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HR leader to join our dynamic team. Working alongside the Executive Director People & Culture, and other members of the leadership team, the role will focus on developing and building capability within the Department, as well as driving initiatives in the broader organisation. This role plays a key part in managing a small team delivering a range of operational HR services within a complex industrial environment and multi-site organisation. The role has been designed to have a high level of hands-on involvement in a range of employee and industrial relations matters, whilst also supporting the department on the journey of becoming a transformational People & Culture service in the future.

 

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in an operational HR role, ideally with previous experience in leading and managing people;
  • High level understanding and knowledge of contemporary people management and human resources practices;
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with managers and staff at all levels;
  • Adaptability and the desire to undertake quality improvement initiatives.
