About the role

Box Hill Hospital is opening a new hybrid operating theatre. We are excited to have this new technology with cutting edge robotic imaging through the Artis Pheno, a robotic C-arm. We will be able to offer supported clinical specialities, such as vascular surgery performing minimally invasive surgeries through to complex cases.

We seek motivated, dedicated and patient oriented Anaesthetic/PACU and Scrub/Scout registered nurses who are keen to share and build their knowledge and experience. You ideally have some experience working in the hybrid theatre environment; however we are able to support perioperative nurses who are keen to explore this new technology.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years perioperative experience in Anaesthetics/PACU or Scrub Scout  


• Current registration with AHPRA (essential)


• Some recent Australian perioperative nursing experience (preferred)


• Post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded


• Experience in the hybrid theatre setting will be highly regarded


• An empathetic and personable demeanour


• Initiative, a willingness to learn and ask questions


• A strong commitment to high quality care


• The ability to work as part of a diverse team


• Excellent communication and organisational skills
