About the role

Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Program is a leader in care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of whole-of-life mental health treatment and support to people living in Melbourne’s eastern region, including community-based services, inpatient, and in-reach support. Following significant investment across the whole of the mental health sector precipitated by the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health Services, the Mental Health Program is undergoing a major transformation, developing new models of care and expanding the way we work to better support our community. As part of our transformation, we are seeking suitably qualified Personal Assistants to support our current and growing team. Full- and part-time (job-share) roles are available.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Extensive senior administrative support role experience in a health services or similar environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated high degree of professionalism
  • Excellent time management skills, with the capacity to shift between various tasks throughout the day
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of support related to meeting preparation, development and maintenance of office support processes and systems, report writing and event management
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications including Office, Outlook, Excel, Visio, power point and new communication technologies (i.e. teleconferencing, WebEx)
  • Results focused with demonstrated capacity to manage self and others in order to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated behaviour that fosters and promotes team work and,
  • Willingness to move and work across sites

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
