About the role

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dedicated team at Grampians Health as Health Care Workers. These casual positions are available for an immediate start and include working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The successful applicant will support the independence and self-esteem of residents in our Care Communities with a person centred approach. This position will undertake a range of duties to assist in achieving the nutritional, physical and hygiene needs of residents.

Skills and experience

Essential:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively without direct supervision
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to provide person centred care
  • Assist clients with medication component preferable

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in Care Communities
  • Current food handling certificate
  • Current Level 1 First Aid certificate
