About the role
We are seeking applications from certificate qualified Personal Care Workers to join our Nursing Support Unit. Shifts are predominantly allocated across our nine residential aged care facilities (Jack Lonsdale Lodge, James Thomas Court, Eureka Village Hostel, Geoffrey Cutter Centre, WB Messer, PS Hobson, Hailey House, Talbot Place and Bill Crawford Lodge) with some opportunities to work in Acute and Sub-Acute.
NSU staff have permanent hours and an electronic roster which advises shift locations. NSU staff are required to work AM, PM and Night Duty shifts. NSU staff are required to input their shift requests into our electronic rostering system for review.
Please ensure you upload a copy of your Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and transcript with your application. If applicants have not completed the Assist Clients With Medication Unit, they must be willing to complete the Grampians Health Medication Administration Skills Check Certificate.
To be considered for this role you must be living in the Ballarat region. We are not able to consider applicants who are currently studying for this role.
You will be required to provide 2 referees, one being your current Facility Manager / NUM and the second another manager / supervisor. Newly qualified carers can provide placement manager / course coordinator and a manager from a current / recent employer.
