$52.93 - $60.27 Per hour
(minimum of 48 hrs per fortnight, up to 80 hrs per fortnight with ADO)

About the role

Applications are invited from experienced Pharmacists to join our dedicated Pharmacy team. These permanent full / part time positions are available for an immediate start and include working Monday to Friday with a rotating Saturday roster including participation in an on-call roster. The Grade 3 Pharmacist is responsible for a high quality, safe, efficient and effective pharmacy service delivery, ensuring legal requirements, accreditation standards and all relevant policies and guidelines are implemented and adhered to.

This position provides an exciting opportunity to work in an existing area of pharmacy interest or upskill in a variety of specialty practice areas, for example, emergency department pharmacy services, oncology, or Partnered pharmacist medication charting (PPMC) and to assist with the efficient performance of the hospital’s pharmacy services and training programmes.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and current Pharmacist AHPRA registration
  • At least eight years’ experience and/or is engaged on specialised pharmacy work or work of a research or developmental nature
  • Demonstrated ability to provide specialist knowledge to the pharmacy department 
  • Membership or eligible for membership of an appropriate professional body – Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia or Pharmaceutical Society of Australia
  • Current Drivers Licence
