Are you a qualified Pharmacist interested in supporting the roll out of the COVID 19 Vaccinations to regional South West Victoria?

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for qualified Pharmacists to join South West Healthcare's Vaccination Centre.  These roles provide efficient delivery of pharmaceutical support to the centre by predominately managing the timely preparation of various vaccines, liaising with staff in planning of workload, and reporting to various organisations including the Department of Health. The pharmacists will also coordinate other members of the team to optimise efficiency of operations. The positions are an integral part of the COVID 19 Vaccination team, which comprises of a range of clinical and non-clinical staff including Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians and Administrative Support Officers.

Full time, part time (minimum 6 - 12 months) and casual positions are available. Please specify in your application your preference.

What you bring

The successful applicants must hold a recognised degree in Pharmacy from an approved tertiary institution, the ability to produce a service of excellence by use of Quality Improvement techniques, and is familiar with National Standards Accreditation requirements.  Candidates preferably have previous exposure to a broad range of Pharmacy services in the general hospital field. Good time management and organisational skills are a must.
