An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and dynamic candidate to become the Pharmacy Procurement Manager at Western Health. This position coordinates the procurement of medication across the network to ensure that effective and efficient systems are in place to support the Best Care of patients. The Pharmacy Procurement Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the Pharmacy Stores and provides a key leadership role within the pharmacy service as the line manager of Pharmacy Stores staff. This position liaises with pharmaceutical industry partners to secure optimal access and pricing and also ensures that compliance with industry standards is achieved. This role presents an exciting and inspiring opportunity to develop a leading edge pharmacy service model within an evolving health network.


To be Successful in this Role you



  • Have successfully supervised a large warehouse or store facility;

  • Have a proven ability to implement procurement quality improvements and to produce quality outcomes;

  • Have excellent leadership and management skills;

  • Demonstrate planning, organisation and workload prioritisation;

  • Proactively anticipate difficulties and resolve potential problems before they arise;

  • Understand pharmacy operations or have a willingness to learn pharmacy operations
