This is a great opportunity for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the physio team at MDHS! Working across all campuses and settings, working in acute, aged care and community, this is an opportunity not to be missed. In this role, you will provide Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and community members within a multi-disciplinary team environment. You will be working within a team environment comprising of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and an Allied Health Assistant.

Physiotherapist

 Fixed Term Full Time –  80 hours per fortnight (commencing 29th March 2021 to 4th April 2022)

Classification:  Physiotherapist Gr 2 – depending on experience

Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020

 Qualifications / Experience

  1.  Registration with Physiotherapists' Registration Board of Victoria

Specialist Expertise

  1. Demonstrated level of expertise in the application of the principles and skills of clinical physiotherapy.
  2. Understanding and commitment to evidence-based treatment and client-centred work.
  3. Proven ability to work autonomously.
  4. Well developed computer skills.

 Personal Qualities

  1. Demonstrated skill in working in multi-disciplinary and professional teams in order to achieve best client outcomes.
  2. Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
